Huawei’s Pura70 Ultra dethrones the competition as DxOMark’s new camera king.
Camera benchmarking lab DxOMark recently shared its updated global rankings, and the HUAWEI Pura70 Ultra have surged to the top of the charts, claiming the #1 spot with a score of 163 points.
That’s a significant five-point lead over the previous leader, the HONOR Magic6 Pro 11 (158 points). The new Huawei flagship also outscored the Mate 60 Pro+ and the OPPO Find X7 Ultra (both at 157 points).
Apple’s iPhone 15 Pro Max remains the video recording champion with a score of 154 points, but the Pura70 Ultra trails closely behind (148 points).

To recap, the HUAWEI Pura70 Ultra (priced at PHP 79,999) boasts a retractable 50MP 1-inch sensor with a variable f/1.6~f/4.0 aperture and OIS. Alongside a 40MP f/2.2 ultrawide lens, and a 50MP f/2.1 telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom and up to 100x digital zoom, backed by OIS and macro capabilities.
DxOMark praises the phone’s strengths: excellent exposure and contrast, stunning HDR rendering, accurate autofocus with good video stabilization, and a variable aperture that optimizes depth of field for each scene.
Additionally, the Pura70 Ultra excels in balancing noise and texture, with impressive bokeh and macro capabilities.
