Infinix warns public of fake GT 20 Pro 5G units

Infinix Philippines has issued a warning about counterfeit GT 20 Pro 5G units being sold in various marketplaces.

Infinix Gt 20 Pro Fi 1

In a Facebook post, the company detailed key differences between genuine and fake GT 20 Pro units. The retail box, contents, and phone design are clear indicators of authenticity.

The authentic box features the Mobile Legends Professional League (MPL) logo, while the counterfeit has a different design and a “Komi” logo.

Box contents also vary significantly. The genuine product includes a uniquely designed box, a 45W power adapter, but no wired earphones. In contrast, the counterfeit includes a basic 10W charging brick and cheap-looking wired earphones.

Detailed comparisons of the phones’ designs reveal striking differences. The genuine GT 20 Pro boasts blue accents and uniformly sized camera rings on the rear, while the fake device has a different design and varying camera ring sizes.

Additionally, the placement of text prints differs. The real phone displays “Infinix GT” in the lower middle, while the fake one shows only “GT” in a different font and positioned on the lower right.

To avoid scams, Infinix strongly advises purchasing the GT 20 Pro exclusively through official channels, which are linked below:

If creativity and wit sometimes leave JM's system, watching films, anime and a good stroll for memes are his approved therapeutic claims.
