The Infinix ZERO 40 5G 18 has been launched in India, just over a month after it was first unveiled. We’ll update readers should the device arrive in the Philippines as well.
The phone sports a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 144Hz. Powering the device is a Dimensity 8200 chipset, coming with 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage.
Optics include a triple-rear camera system, led by a 108-megapixel main shooter with OIS. This is paired with a 50-megapixel ultra wide and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. At the front, users will get a 50-megapixel selfie snapper.
Additionally, the phone can shoot up to 4K at 60fps. It even has a GoPro mode to allow users to leverage their GoPro devices with the phone.
The phone will run on XOS 14.5 based on Android 14 out of the box. Infinix promises the device will come with two (2) major OS updates along with three (3) years of security patches.
Plus, it packs a 5,000mAh battery with 45W of wired charging via USB Type-C. It also supports 20W of wireless charging and 10W of reverse wireless charging. Other features include its dual stereo speakers with JBL audio, an IR Blaster, and NFC.
The Infinix ZERO 40 5G will be available in Violet Garden, Moving Titanium, and Rock Black color options. Sales begin in India on September 21st for INR 27,999PHP 19,381USD 330EUR 315CNY 2,405 (~PHP 19K) with 12GB/256GB. It’s also available for INR 30,999PHP 21,458USD 366EUR 348CNY 2,663 (~PHP 21K) with 12GB/512GB.
