Instagram is rolling out the feature to post photos from a desktop browser.
According to Instagram, the feature will be released to limited users for a test run. Instagram confirmed this news to Engadget, sharing that the decision was done so that people who access Instagram via computer will have an improved experience to create Feed post with their desktop computer.
Instagram’s plans were previously spotted by Twitter user @alex193a, sharing screenshots of the ability to post with a desktop computer. From there, a number of users started to share that they too had the ability to post from their computer browser.
If desktop posting feature has been enabled for your account, you can find an “add” icon at the top-right corner of the site between the Icons for Direct Messages and Explore. From there you are able to add a photo and edit like how you would normally do in the mobile app.
Further information about this have yet to surface so stick around for more updates.
