The launch of iPhone 15 is just around the corner and the community just can’t deny their thrill for a USB-C iPhone. According to new claims, the iPhone 15 and its Plus variants may come with braided USB-C cables in matching colors.
Prototype collector Kosutami shared supposed images on X (formerly Twitter) of DVT (design validation test) samples of black, braided USB-C cables for the iPhone 15 Pro.
There are also colored ones which are speculated will match the colorways of some iPhone 15 models, likely the vanilla and the Plus variants.
All cables in question are USB-C to USB-C, featuring a glossy white plastic shell on both ends. Additionally, they have strain relief tubes designed to increase resistance to bending and wear and tear, or so they claim.

Meanwhile, the iPhone 15 Pro Max will also ‘apparently’ come with color-braided cables, according to MacRumors.
Another tipster, Majin Bu also shared his on-hand cables and claims that these measure about 1.5 meters.
Until recently, all iPhone models came with a white cable that had a white rubber jacket, regardless of the device’s color. However, most of Apple’s other devices have had braided cables for some time.
Additionally, all MacBook Air and MacBook Pro models with MagSafe 3 now come with braided cables in matching colors. This makes sense for the iPhone 15 to come with colored, braided cables too. Which further complements its sleek design and appeal to fashion-conscious users.
