Apart from the iPhone XS and XS Max, Apple also unveiled a third iPhone into the mix — the iPhone XR. It has almost all the bells and whistles of the other two but with a few key differences.
The iPhone XR sits in between the two when it comes to display size, with a 6.1-inch Liquid Retina edge-to-edge display at 1792 x 828 resolution or 326ppi. Powering it is the same A12 Bionic 7nm chipset found on the other two. The chassis of the device is made of Aerospace grade aluminum and has an IP67 rating.
The front shooter is the same with the XS and XS Max, which is a 7MP RGB f/2.2 front camera. The rear, on the other hand, is no longer a dual shooter but just a single 12MP f/1.8 wide-angle rear camera w/ True Tone Flash. It will come in 64, 128, and 256GB storage variants.
The iPhone XR starts at $749 (~Php 40,315) it will be up for pre-order on October 19 and be available by October 25. It will come in White, Black, Blue, Coral, Yellow, and Red.
