Ahead of Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2023, Lenovo just announced on Tuesday its latest generation of the IdeaPad lineup with Pro and Slim variations.
Beginning with the IdeaPad Pro 5i and Pro 5 that come with either AMD Ryzen or Intel Core processors combined with either NVIDIA GeForce Next-Gen GPU or integrated graphics.
The display features a 120Hz QHD+ IPS panel with 16:10 aspect ratio with 100% sRGB.
Design is pretty much the same with previous iterations though they come with Arctic Grey and Frost Blue colorways. It features 25% larger touchpad, a Full HD IR camera with Time of Flight (ToF) sensor which should be good enough for online meetings.
It also has a privacy shutter to avoid random embarrassment with accidental turning on of the camera.
The I/Os include Thunderbolt 4 ports, USB-C, and USB 4.0. While its RAM and storage capabilities are up to 32GB LPDDR5, and up to 1TB SSD via M.2 SSD, respectively.
There are also the IdeaPad Slim 5i and Slim 5 boasting OLED screens that support 100% DCI-P3 colors. It has a Rapid Boost charging feature that provides 2 hours more battery life at only 15 minutes of charging.
All of the IdeaPad lineup mention come in two sizes, 14-inch or 16-inch wherein the latter supports expandable storage via SSD slot for the Pro variant only.
