Pre-orders for the Lenovo Legion Go, a Switch-like gaming PC handheld, are now live through Best Buy.
Lenovo’s new console, which debuted last month at the IFA 2023, boasts detachable controllers, an 8.8-inch Quad HD display, and equips the AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme processor.
It can reach up to 30W thermal design power (TDP) and deploys ‘ultra-thin’ heatsink fins for heat dissipation.
With a design reminiscent of the Nintendo Switch, the Legion Go offers a plethora of game modes to cater to different gaming preferences. In addition to the usual handheld and detachable mode, it features a specially tailored FPS mode for avid first-person shooter enthusiasts.
In FPS mode, the Legion Go provides a new way to play first-person shooter games with its included controller base. The left side of the base functions as WASD keys for precise movement, while the right side acts as a vertical mouse, enhancing aiming accuracy.
For those looking for a more immersive gaming experience, there’s also the Battle Station mode, allowing players to connect the device to a monitor and other gaming accessories.
And with Legion Glasses mode, players can explore augmented realities using its compatible Glasses accessory.
