At E3 2019, LG has just unveiled the UltraGear gaming monitor, the company’s first 1 millisecond IP display.
The UltraGear employs Nano IPS technology, with response time and refresh rate of 144Hz to 175Hz. It’s available in two screen sizes, a 38-inch one and a smaller 27-inch one. The 38-inch monitor has a 21:9 aspect ratio with a 3840 x 1600 resolution, while the 27-inch model has a 2560 x 1440 resolution. Both monitors are NVIDIA G-Sync compatible, but the 38-inch monitor also supports VESA DisplayHDR 400. Both models have game-specific settings such as Dynamic Action Sync mode, Black Stabilizer, and Crosshair for FPS games.
The LG UltraGear gaming monitors are set to be launched next month, in the US. The 27-inch model will be up for pre-order by July 1 in the US, with Europe following suit. Prices have yet to be announced.
