LG intros front-loader washing machine with AI DD

LG Electronics is releasing its latest front-loader washing machine in Asia, powered by the company’s new Artificial Intelligence Direct Drive (AI DD) with deep learning.

LG’s latest front-loader washing machine uses deep learning, which draws on a vast amount of data collected by LG, to assess and determine the laundry’s load and fabric softness. With this information, the AI DD can then implement tuned washing patterns to efficiently wash the laundry and reduce the occurrence of fabric damage by 18%.

The latest washing machine also features the TurboWash 360 with Fast Wash, allowing it to finish the laundry in just 39 minutes, which is 34% faster than the conventional TurboWash option. It works by spraying jets of water and laundry detergent in four different directions. It then uses Steam+ to neutralize 99.9% of allergens with a disinfecting steam, and Wrinkle Care to removing 30% of creases.

The new front-loader can also be turned into a TWINWash by placing the LG MiniWash directly underneath it so the user can wash two loads at the same time.

As for its durability and reliability, the new front-loader washing machines boasts an energy rating of A+++-50% and comes with a 10-year warranty. Users can also remotely control and monitor the washing from their smartphone using the LG SmartThinQ app.

The new LG front-loader washing machine with AI DD will be available in the Philippines
