LG has revealed the StanbyME Go in Korea. This is a portable screen in a suitcase.
The LG StanbyME Go is a 27-inch portable touchscreen inside a travelling case. The device has a stand, speaker, and battery built in as well as a remote controller and power cable.
It is able to rotate clockwise and be tilted up to 90 degrees. It’s also able to adjust its height within 18-centimeters.
The portable screen is said to have passed durability tests from the US Department of Defense such as with tests for low pressure, high and low temperatures, dust, vibration, salt spray, shock, and drop. The device can be used horizontally, vertically or in table mode with the screen lying on its back.
The device has a 20-watt speaker that supports Dolby Vision and Atmos stereo sound. Its built-in battery can last up to three hours without a power source.
The LG StanbyMe Go is priced at 1.17 million won on July 7. There’s no news on a Philippine launch date for LG’s portable screen, but we’ll let you know when we catch any wind of it.
