With this update, these handsets are expected to provide a smoother response thanks to Project Butter implementation. Google Now is also expected to make an appearance after the update, as well as support for Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) and faster data transfer over NFC with Android Beam 2.0.

The Jelly bean update is said to be rolled out in the latter part of this month.

  1. LG just recaptured the third Spot in mobile world the last time was in 2008-2009.

    LG IS COME BACK!

    • tagalugin mo nlang pre. sakit sa mata eh.

  2. Any Samsung fan commenting here about how great Samsung is in updating their devices, is an idiot. S2, their last year’s flagship, still doesn’t have official JB in India and many other countries. So guys, don’t shit where you eat. Or just don’t say what you don’t know.

samsung galax y,Galaxy y duos,Galaxy Ace,Ace Duos,S Advance have no 4.0. ! only o.d. 2.3 verson! How pepole blaming about lg ! Why not see this samsung already crapy ? Lg have all models in 4.0 ! 4.1 in butter project come in all new and some old models ! When samsungs have not in low range’s any 4.1 ver. Model ! Lg l5 have 4.1

    • I have optimus 2x. Up to now walang official ICS update (for asia except SoKor from LG), paano pa kung JB pa.

      research ka muna ah.

    • FOR YOU “toLifesGood ” ganun din ang ibang manufacturers gaya ng samsung at LG di lahat ng OLD phones nila ay PWEDENG I- UPDATE SA MGA LATEST SOFTWARE…

DAHIL KUNG MINSAN AY IMBIS NA GUMANDA ANG PERFORMANCE AY LALONG BUMABAGAL PA…

      F.Y.I.
L7II, L5 II, L3 II are all running on JB OUT OF THE BOX!!!

    • MAS MARAMI AKONG ALAM KESA SAYO !

      F.Y.I.
ANG O.B. AT 2X AY UPDATED NA FROM GINGERBREAD TO ICS SA IBANG ASIAN COUNTRIES LIKE SINGAPORE & S.KOREA…

KUNG MAY REKLAMO KA? ALAMIN MO KUNG BAKIT DI NA UPDATE ANG PHONE MO? BASED SA REGION OR CARRIER MO? BAKA SILA MY PROBLEMA/
      AT KUNDI NAMAN AY
PAKI INTINDI ANG MENSAHE KO SA TAAS…
AT KUNG MAY REKLAMO MKA PARIN?
TNDAAN MO GANUN DIN ANG IBANG MANUFACTURERS…

    • @Life’s GOOD: Dude, are you on drugs?

    • @Life’s GOOD: Dude, please take this as a constructive criticism. If you want us to understand your message, I would suggest that you write your comments in the language you are very comfortable with. You may have a point in your arguments re: UPDATE (LG vs Samsung), however your wordings are really confusing. Try to proof-read your comments :) PEACE

    • ang ibig sabihin ni Life’s GOOD ay kapareho lng din ng ibang mobile manufacturers ang lg hindi lahat ng old phones ay pwedeng i update or di lahat sabay-sabay sa pagpapadala ng software updates. .

dahil ganun din ang samsung marami silang hindi inapdate na old phones nila kagaya ng S2 na dating flagship 2012 ay di pa na update sa ibang bansa like india.

    • ah yun naman pala point mo. sana nde mo nalang minention yung “Lg have all models in 4.0 !” sa original comment mo kasi inaccurate na sya. Tapos sa next comment mo is “at LG di lahat ng OLD phones nila ay PWEDENG I- UPDATE SA MGA LATEST SOFTWARE”.

Ang point ko is my old optimus 2x is supposed to match the S2 nun nirelease silang dalawa. however in my opinion mas okay ang update/support ni Samsung sa S2. Unlike in ni LG for O2x, kailangan pa magprotesta ng mga users para lang magkaroon kami ng update.

    • Don’t take this personally but you’re an idiot. Most of LG’s phones are late, so unless they want to look stupid, of course they’re gonna launch their phones with at least ICS. It’s simple logic these days that unless you want a fail, you have to make phones with at least ICS. And S2 has at least ICS, I think, in most places. India being ignored is nothing new, Samsung doesn’t release most of their phones there. And Samsung is undeniably the phone company with the best customer service. LG is notorious about late. Being late about releasing phones and updates. It’s a fact.

    • Excuse me but we live in the Philippines not in Europe so your link is invalid.

    • @me
according to LG magpapadala sila ng

  4. ANO PINUPUTO NI LIFE’S GOOD? HAHAHAAHAH! NapakaIllogical ng mga comments nya eh. Sarap tumawa!!!

    • *PINUPUTOK

  5. “BAKIT KAYA MARAMING HIGH BLOOD SA YUGATECH NGAUN”

  6. Hello i am kavin, its my first time to commenting anyplace, when i read this paragraph i thought i could also make comment due to this
    good piece of writing.

  7. parang pareho-pareho lang ang manufacturers. not all of them send updates. business kc yan para sa kanila. mostly high end phones lang ang me updates.

  8. I swore to myself I’ll never buy an LG phone again due to this software update problem that I think they never give a damn to work on it as their top priority. Once you buy an LG phone, you’re on your own. However, I broke this promise for Nexus 4 (ayus lang nexus naman hehe) but not nexus? Never again.

  9. I am sure this piece of writing has touched all the internet people, its really really nice piece of writing on building up new blog.
