LG Electronics (LG) is set to redefine gaming experiences with its latest lineup of UltraGear OLED gaming monitors, aiming to provide unparalleled visual and auditory immersion.
The star of the lineup is the much-anticipated 32GS95UE, introducing the groundbreaking Dual-Hz feature alongside Pixel Sound technology!
The 32GS95UE, featuring a 240Hz refresh rate and ultra-fast 0.03ms Gray-to-Gray (GtG) response time, marks the first UltraGear monitor equipped with the Dual-Hz feature.
This feature allows users to seamlessly switch between 4K (3,840 x 2,160) at 240Hz and Full-HD (1,920 x 1,080) at 480Hz with a simple click. Tailored for different gaming genres, this capability ensures optimal screen resolution and refresh rate combinations.
In addition to the Dual-Hz feature, the 32-inch UltraGear OLED monitor boasts an impressive 0.03ms (GtG) response time, enhancing visual clarity and eliminating motion blur.
The 32GS95UE also excels in audio performance with Pixel Sound technology and an integrated front-facing sound system featuring dual woofers. The speakers are cleverly concealed behind the OLED panel, eliminating the need for external speakers and maximizing desk space.
The monitor also features DCI-P3 coverage of 98.5%, DisplayHDR True Black 400 support, and dual HDMI 2.1 ports. However, the single DisplayPort is rated at 1.4 instead of the new DisplayPort 2.1, requiring the use of Display Stream Compression (DSC) for optimal resolution and refresh rates.
Aside from the 32GS95UE, LG announced five other OLED monitors, including the 34-inch and 39-inch 34GS95QE and 39GS95QE, featuring curved 3440×1440 panels with a 240Hz refresh rate, 800R curvature, and similar connectivity as the 32GS95UE.
The 45GS95QE and the 45GS96QB, both 45-inch 3440×1440 240Hz curved OLED monitors, differ in that the 45GS96QB has built-in speakers and USB-C 65W charging. Lastly, the 27GS95QE, with a 27-inch 2560×1440 240Hz flat panel, shares similar features with the previous models.
Pricing and availability details for the UltraGear OLED gaming monitors will most likely be revealed in Q1 2024.
