LG unveils UltraGear 27GN950, world’s first 4K 1MS IPS monitor

LG has unveiled the world’s first monitor with a high refresh rate, 4K IPS display with a 1MS Gray-to-Gray response time.

The LG UltraGear 27GN950 is equipped with a 27-inch Nano IPS panel, covering 98% of the DCI-P3 color space, with VESA DisplayHDR 600 certification.

It comes with VESA Display Stream Compression technology, capable of delivering 4K resolution in 10-bit colors with a 144Hz refresh rate using a single DisplayPort cable. LG has also partnered with NVIDIA for G-Sync support.

The LG UltraGear 27GN950 will be available in Europe, North America, Asia, and other regions starting today. Stay tuned for updates on its local pricing and availability.
