LTFRB to start online registration of TNVS this March 5

During the Senate hearing on TNVS chaired by Sen. Grace Poe, LTFRB Chairman Delgra has announced that they will start opening online registration of TNVS applications by March 5, 2018.

Last July 2016, the LTFRB has suspended accepting new applications of TNVS. Uber admitted that only about 10 to 20% of cars in their system are registered and the rest are colurum.

Last January, the LTFRB has also stated that they will limit the TNVS applications to just 45,000 cars (between Uber and Grab). During this period, Grab and Uber has also petitioned the bureau for a fare increase which is currently being deliberated.

The target to re-open the application this March 5, the LTFRB has tapped consultants to roll this out. Uber and Grab are also providing assistance on how to make the online application smoother and easier.The agency is also reconsidering allowing the hatchback that was previously disallowed.

Other issues were also discussed like the use of a special plate or exclusive TNVS sticker for the cars to identify them as TNVS.

HATCHBACK FOR TNVS
Kanya naman hindi qualified ang mga hatchback para sa public transportation cars ay dahil sa isang mahalagang bagay. Mangangamoy sa passenger compartment ang ano mang bagay na mabaho na nasa luggage compartment. Dapat talaga tatlo ang compartment ng isang car na ginagamit para sa public transportation ito ay ang mga sumusunod; engine compartment, passenger compartment at luggage compartment at dapat totally sealed ang pagitan ng bawat compartment. Kung mayron ano mang mabaho sa luggage compartment gaya nang mabahong laundry clothes, prutas na durian, marang at iba pa o kaya lutong ulam na binurong isda, ito ay sisingaw sa passenger compartment dahil hindi silyado ang pagitan ng passenger at luggage compartments, cardboard lang ang pagitan. Sa passenger ok lang kung maamoy man niya ang baho sakanya naman yung kargada pero kung ang trip ay pool mayroon iba pang passenger na makaka amoy at yung driver din maaamoy din at hindi maka pag concentrate sa pag mamaneho at MAHILO at madisgrasya pa.
Yan ang dapat bigyan ng pansin kanya tinatangihan ang hatchback cars.gaano man kalaki o kaliit ang displacement nito pareho lang yan.

Your issue can be easily addressed by creating a separate category for HBs (call it Uber Lite or Grab Lite or Uber Mini or Grab Economy), if you are just 1 or 2 pax w/o luggage or anything heavy/bulky)this will be your Go-to Uber ride). Uber/grab drivers who are already in the system will lose their livelihood if you’ll just disallow HBs altogether.

Bakit ang mga suv ba may 3 compartment? Tulad ng innova, avanza, adventure, at iba pang suv type? Iba ang issue ng sinasbai nila sa safety at sa pangangamoy. Hindi issue ang mga mangangamoy.

Hi po gud pm,, ask ko lng po anong gagawin namen , kasi po nung nagpasa kami ng requirements sa LTFRB and sabi po sa amin antayin ung tawag nila for hearing,, till now po wala po kami na receive,, ano po kaya gagawin para maka attend ng ulit hearing, thanks po,
