Following the Memorandum Circular 2019-2176 issued December last year, LTO will now require prospective student drivers to attend a mandatory 15-hour driving course starting April 2020.
The driving course is said to be divided into three sessions, including Introduction to traffic laws, Land Transportation-Related Special Laws, and general driving. These courses are available in driving course centers.
To be able to offer the 15-hour seminar, driving course centers must first be accredited, which lasts for two years. Instructors must score at least 85% to be able to issue the theoretical exam.
Kasi in the first place, ang drivers license, pribelehiyo lang yan.

Edgar dalaguit says:
Lisence
Pampa says:
Karamihan, ung mga walang lisensya yung nakaka-disgrasya. You can always teach those topics/lectures in schools. Pati pag-uugali sa pagmamaneho naituturo. Discipline are for those who follow.. how about those who don’t, they will never be known until caught.
Vergel says:
I have driving NCII. Am I still needed to attend this seminar? This topics were already been taught to us longer than 15 hours.
Ramon says:

jon says:
how about if you just want to renew your existing student permit? do you still need to attend 15 hrs seminar?
Jay says:
Let professional drivers undergo seminars everytime they renew their licenses
Robert S. Buyag says:
Follow the u.s.a. pattern in acquiring a driver’s license. Very fair and strict. .
GERV says:
15 hours to learn road rules they will not follow…because filipino drivers do not follow rules.

Correction “dapat walang excemptio “
Ramon says:

Gumawa kayo ng booklet o babasahin o applications for free. Blinking red light. At marami pa LTO please..
Educate the people by provide drivers booklets or application from androids .. NOTE. KULANG ANG Q&A applications lang.at kulang ang three day seminar.
Suggestion: gayahin nyo yong DMV CALIFORNIA DRIVERS HANDBOOK. Marami ako natutunan dyan at naitatak sa akin lalo na how to be a defensive driver.
Sana makatulong
For better Phillipines and still hoping for that…
Junnex says:
In my humble opinion and it is based on my experiences ….just like here at Canada po…may website po sila per provinces which is designed po para sa mga gusto mag review in preparation sa written exam..mas malaking tulong sa road safety if properly assisted and educated na ang mga magkakaroon ng driving license…at sa dapat taasan ang mga fines sa mga violators para lalong sususnod ang mga driver sa batas trapiko. at sana maging seryoso ang mga training organisation sa kanilang trabaho…failed is failed sana…#FixerNoMore.
Suggestion lang po…#forbetterPH..
written exam=unlimited take (with payment per exam)
road test = maximum of take 5(with payment per exam)
Note:after take 5 of road test and still failed mandatory schooling for a period of time.
with that process maybe we can produce a responsible, more disipcline ,defensive and law abiding drivers…
God bless Maharlikans
