Marvel announces Future Revolution, an open world RPG for mobile

Marvel, in partnership with Netmarble, is releasing a new RPG game for mobile: Marvel Future Revolution.

First announced at PAX East, Marvel Future Revolution is an open-world RPG game for mobile! Written by Marc Sumerak, Marvel Future Revolution’s story starts with the convergence of multiple Earths from all dimensions, forming the new Primary Earth. Players must work together to defeat hordes of enemies, including Red Skull, Baron Mordo, M.O.D.O.K., Green Goblin, and Red Goblin, to defend the universe.

Currently, there are only four playable characters: Captain America, Captain Marvel, Spider-Man, and Doctor Strange. Cosmetics are available for purchase, allowing players to customize their character’s costumes.

We don’t know much about gameplay so far. The trailers have shown off in-game footage, but no gameplay itself. This being mobile, we’ll likely see the typical control scheme of “joystick” on the left side of the screen and action buttons on the right.
