Maya Savings accounts to earn 3.5% interest starting June 2

Starting June 2, 2023, Maya Savings accounts will start earning 3.5% interest per annum (p.a.) daily. This is down 0.5% from the base 4% p.a. before the change. 25

Maya shared the news via an update on its app today, which you can see below:

“Just like before, the 3.5% base interest p.a. of Maya Savings applies to max. balance of P5,000,000. Any amount in excess of P5 million will earn no interest,” said the update.

In addition, Maya shared that starting June 5, you can also increase the rate to 10% via the following method:

Users will be able to get up to 10% p.a. on their first Php 100,000USD 1,704INR 144,460EUR 1,623CNY 12,410 when they spend with Maya from June 5 to August 31, 2023.
