MediaTek has announced its latest budget chipsets, the Helio G35 and G25.
Both the Helio G35 and G25 chips are aimed at gamers, powered by Arm Cortex-A53 CPUs operating at 2.3GHz and 2.0GHz paired with IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPUs running at 680MHz and 650MHz. Both are built on MediaTek’s 12nm FinFET production process, along with the same features of higher-end G-series chips such as:
- HyperEngine Game Technology – allows for smoother gaming by actively managing the CPU and GPU, and smart switch to LTE + WiFi when the system detects a slow internet connection.
- Multi-Camera Photography – allows systems to use multiple cameras, a hardware depth engine for dual-camera bokeh photography, AI-enhanced camera features, Electronic Image Stabilization, and Rolling Shutter Compensation engines.
- Both chips support dual 4G SIM support with VoLTE/ViLTE on both SIMs. It also comes with WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5, and MediaTek’s TAS 2.0 smart antenna technology.
These chips are featured in the upcoming realme C11, Redmi 9A, and Redmi 9C.
