Mark Zuckerbuerg has announced the successor to the Meta Quest 2 set to launch this year: the Meta Quest 3.
The Meta Quest 3 is a virtual and mixed reality headset that comes in a higher resolution and better display. It is stated in Facebook’s official post that the headset will have the next-gen Snapdragon chipset powering it which is able to provide a better performance than their previous devices.
The device is promised to be 40% thinner than the Quest 2 with hand tracking supported out of the box.
Titles under the Quest 2 will be compatible with the Quest 3. Details about the Meta Quest 3 will be revealed on September 27.
