Apart from the Mi 10 Ultra and the Redmi K30 Ultra, Xiaomi has also unveiled its first mass-produced transparent TV in the form of Mi TV Lux Transparent Edition.
As its name suggests, the smart TV has a 55-inch transparent OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. This allows the subject to appear like they are floating on the screen when turned on. It has DCI-P3 coverage of up to 93% for presenting more accurate colors, 120Hz MEMC technology, a static contrast ratio of 150000:1, and a pixel response time of 1ms for low latency and smooth controls in gaming.
Onboard is a MediaTek 9650 custom-made TV chipset with AI Smart Engine that offers 20 optimization algorithms and dedicated optimization for 5 major use scenarios.
In terms of audio, the smart TV features Dolby Atmos-tuned speakers and AI Master for Audio that adjusts the audio profile according to the type of content being played.
The transparent TV has a thin body at 5.7mm and has a circular base that houses the speakers and connectivity ports for Antenna, network, optical wire, AV input, 3 HDMI, and 2 USB 2.0.
It runs on a custom-designed MIUI for TV and an Always-On display.
The smart TV may also be used for galleries, museums, shopping malls, and theaters.
The Mi TV Lux Transparent Edition is now available in China for CNY 49,999.
