Motorola on Thursday just announced two new devices including the premium flagship, Moto X40 and the mid-ranger Moto G53 5G.
The Moto X40 boasts the newest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, deserving as a member of Moto X lineup. It is also the brand’s first phone to have a 165Hz refresh rate on its curved AMOLED display with 10-bit colors and supports HDR10+. Its battery is at 4,600mAh — the same capacity as the Moto X30 Pro had — that charges up to 125W wired and wireless too at 15W (down from 50W on its predecessor).
Meanwhile, Moto G53 5G, interestingly has an unspecified octa-core Qualcomm chip and some compromises. Weirdly enough, they ditched the 90Hz 6.6-inch FHD+ AMOLED display (on the Moto G52) for a 120Hz 6.5-inch LCD display with a disappointing HD+ resolution.
Let’s check out their full specs below.
