Motorola is set to launch X50 their First AI-Powered Flagship Device

It seems Motorola is ready to enter the AI smartphone arena with their upcoming flagship device, the Motorola X50 Ultra. In a cryptic but exciting teaser posted on Weibo, the Lenovo-owned brand hinted that their new device will pack powerful artificial intelligence capabilities when it launches next month.

The video shows a Formula 1 car going fast on a racetrack to suggest that the X50 Ultra phone will be very fast too when it comes to performance. We don’t have many details yet, but there are rumors that this phone will be special because it will be Motorola’s first phone to use “AI”, or artificial intelligence. This means it will have the ability to process information in a smart way. We’re not sure what kind of AI features it will have, but Motorola is aiming to be a tough competitor against other brands like Xiaomi, OPPO, and Vivo who are also focusing on AI technology.

Design-wise, the teaser video hints at a vegan leather rear panel and camera module placement similar to previous Motorola phones. Power and volume buttons are also shown along the sides for easy access. Most exciting of all, Motorola has announced the launch will take place on April 21st.
