If you are one of the thousands who regularly ride Manila’s Metro Rail Transit (MRT) daily, to work or any place else, then be advised as one of its line’s operating hours will now be cut short. Starting tomorrow MRT’s Line 3 will operate an hour shorter.
MRT operations director Michael Capati said that on Friday, train operations will now be from 5:30 am until 10:30 pm, as opposed to the normal 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. operating hours.
The change in operating hours was to give way for longer maintenance work. Although the main reason for the adjustment was due to the detachment of one of the train coaches earlier today. Luckily, no passenger was injured during the incident.
