MSI is set to debut its latest laptop, the Creator 17, at CES 2020 in Las Vegas.
The Creator 17 will be the first laptop in the world to be equipped with a Mini LED display. MSI stated that the min-LED display will provide “top-notch, true-to-life color accuracy and visual entertainment experience for all creative souls.” The Creator 17’s display measures at 17-inches and has 1,000 nits of peak brightness, along with the Mini LED backlighting. MSI also noted that the mini-LED technology has 240 zones of dimming control, deep blacks, bright whites, sharper details and imagery. Additionally, the company mentioned that Mini LED is also immune to burn-in problems.
Apart from the Mini LED display, MSI also divulged that the Creator 17 will have a USB-C port with 8k video output support, Thunderbolt 3 port with 27w output to charge mobile devices, a UHS-III SD card reader, full-sized Ethernet port, HDMI ports, separate mic and headphone jacks, and three USB-A ports.
MSI will unveil more details such as its full official specs, pricing, and availability at CES 2020, happening on January 7 to 10, in Las Vegas.
