With the new update, Premium subscribers can jump directly to key moments in videos. By double-tapping, you’ll see a ‘jump ahead’ button that uses AI and viewership data to skip to the best parts. This feature is now available for US Android users and will soon be on iOS.

Picture-in-Picture for YouTube Shorts

Android users can now enjoy YouTube Shorts in a picture-in-picture mode, allowing for multitasking while watching short videos. Browse other apps or check messages without pausing your entertainment.

Early Access to Experimental Features

Moreover, Premium subscribers can access new experimental features at youtube.com/new 11. Here’s what’s currently available:
