Nintendo and Western Digital announce licensed microSD cards for Switch

Nintendo and Western Digital have teamed up to create trusted SanDisk microSDXC cards for use with the Nintendo Switch. The officially licensed cards will come in 64GB and 128GB varieties and will bear the Nintendo Switch and SanDisk logos.

MicroSD cards are a great way to expand storage on your Switch, and choosing the right one can end up being a guessing game. With a plethora of different brands and types of microSD cards, this move by both companies makes your purchasing decision vastly simpler.

No pricing has been announced yet, but they will be released some time in October 2017.
