Registration for the Nothing Phone (2a) Plus Community Edition is now open. It will be available in all markets where Nothing operates, but is limited to 1,000 units only.
As a side note, models bound for Japan will be based on the Nothing Phone (2a), not the Plus variant. Readers interested in the device should head over to nothing.tech 47 prior to sales beginning on November 12, 2024.
The device itself has green-tinted phosphorescent material finishes. The back of the phone has elements that emit a soft glow in the dark without a battery.
Plus, as a community-centric device, it also features six custom wallpapers and packaging. The packaging features a 3D interpretation that focuses on texture, details, and reflective elements.
Of course, for hardware, it’s relatively the same. It will also cost EUR 449 (~PHP 28,000) with 12GB RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. Notably, Nothing noted it will cost the same as a regular Nothing Phone (2a) Plus in any country that they work in.
If this proves to be true, it should cost PHP 24,990 in the Philippines. We’ll leave the promo video for the device above for those interested. What do you guys think of the Nothing Phone (2a) Plus Community Edition?
