The One UI 7.1 audio eraser feature has been leaked online. This lets users remove ambient sounds with AI for when you need clear audio for video recordings.
The story comes just after Samsung released the One UI 7.0 Beta recently. In addition to this, a post on Weibo notes that the update comes with an AI-powered audio eraser.
The post includes the screenshot shown above, which describes the new feature. It works by helping users clean their audio by eliminating unwanted sounds in videos. It also lets users adjust the volume of voices and other things as well.
This can be used in a number of ways, such as increasing the volume of a speaker after recording. You may even work on cleaning audio after recording on a windy street, roof, or under traffic.
The AI should pick up traces of audio and let you adjust after recording. While the interface has yet to be shown, this looks like a nice feature to have for on-the-go editing.
Granted, we’re still in the early beta versions of One UI 7.0. It’s likely that this will be part of the next One UI 7.1 update arriving next year. It’s possible that Samsung is working to reserve the feature for the upcoming Galaxy S25 series, so we’ll keep readers updated.
