OnePlus 13 launched in China

The OnePlus 13 has officially been launched in China, equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. International availability will be announced in the coming months.

The device boasts a 6.82-inch LTPO AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The display is protected by Crystal Shield super-ceramic glass. Plus, it now has an upgraded IP69 rating for dust and water resistance.

Among its other subtle upgrades is its new vibration motor with “gaming controller level feedback”. OnePlus notes that this is the largest vibration motor that’s been put in an Android smartphone.

For optics, the device features three Hasselblad engineered 50-megapixel cameras at the rear. The main camera is a Sony LYT-808 sensor with OIS. This is complemented by a Sony LYT-600 periscope camera and a Samsung S5KJN5 ultra wide sensor.

The rear cameras are able to shoot up to 8K at 30 fps. Meanwhile, at the front, it’s equipped with a 32-megapixel shooter that can record videos up to 4K at 60 fps.

The device will boot ColorOS 15 based on Android 15 out of the box if it’s a Chinese version. However, international units are slated to launch with OxygenOS 15.

Lastly, it packs a 6,000mAh battery with 100W of wired charging via USB Type-C. It also supports 50W of wireless charging as well.

The OnePlus 13 will come in Blue, Obsidian, and White color options. Open sales should begin in China now, with prices starting at CNY 4,499PHP 36,266USD 618INR 52,381EUR 588 (~PHP 37,000USD 630INR 53,450EUR 601CNY 4,592) with 12GB/256GB.
