The OnePlus Ace 3V has gone official in China, the first smartphone to equip the new Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3.
This chipset is built on TSMC’s 4-nanometer process with octa-core architecture. It rocks the new Cortex-X4 CPU that’s also found inside the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 (up to 3.3GHz), albeit with a lower max clock speed of up to 2.8GHz. It packs an Adreno 732 graphics unit, closer to the one inside the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 than the baseline 7 Gen 3.
As for the OnePlus Ace 3V itself, it boasts a revamped rear panel design. Gone is the circular camera island from its predecessor 11; it now has vertically aligned cameras on the left with a protruding oval module around it.
It houses a dual camera system consisting of a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 main sensor with OIS, complemented by an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera.
Also, the LED flash now looks larger with a circular outline (which kind of resembles the Aura Light flash found on recent vivo V29 Series).
At the front, the AMOLED screen is now flat but sandwiched with a 2.5D glass instead. The display measures 6.74-inch and can reach up to an impressive 2150 nits of peak brightness.
The new model retains the same capacity at 5500mAh and the same wired charging speed at 100W. It runs Android 14 out of the box and, as expected in Chinese variants, it is skinned with ColorOS 14 rather than OxygenOS.
