OnePlus is set to unveil its first-ever foldable device in Q3 2023—which they confirmed during the OnePlus 11 launch event in February.
Pricebaba reports that the said foldable which is initially called the OnePlus Fold, will see daylight in New York City during the first half of August. That’s more or less two weeks from Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked launch event on July 26 with its unveiling of the Galaxy Z Flip5 and Z Fold5.
Furthermore, the launch of this OnePlus foldable device will reportedly be a global rollout, which means it will become readily available in the Philippines just as soon as it arrives in the United States.
Its sister company, OPPO, is said to also debut the Find N3 on the same month, but in China. That foldable in question is said to be OnePlus Fold’s twin, with leaks claiming that both devices will have similar specs.
This is to be expected since OnePlus and OPPO are under the same company umbrella, BBK Electronics.
Boasting 8-inch Quad HD LTPO OLED main display and 6.5-inch AMOLED cover display, both having 120Hz refresh rates.
Underneath will be a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, configured with up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage.
Other expected specs include triple rear cameras with 50-megapixels primary (with OIS) along with 32-megapixel selfie shooter for both outer and inner displays. And 4,800mAh battery paired with 80 watts fast charging.
