OnlyFans will prohibit creators from posting sexually explicit content on its website starting in October.
However, creators will still be allowed to post nude photos and videos provided they’re consistent with the company’s policy.
“In order to ensure the long-term sustainability of our platform, and continue to host an inclusive community of creators and fans, we must evolve our content guidelines,” OnlyFans said.
In line with this, OnlyFans has now launched a new safe-for-work app called OFTV.
The app, which has no nudity, was announced as in development back in January. OFTV is now available for download and offers videos from more than 100 OnlyFans creators.
OFTV features free, original content from OnlyFans creators focusing on topics like fitness, cooking, comedy, music, and more. Alongside the launch, there’s also a flagship video series called Unlocked, featuring exclusive interviews with OnlyFans creators like Mia Khalifa and Bella Thorne. The videos are about the individual creators’ journeys to success, while the second season will include “mini-adventures,” according to OnlyFans.
OFTV was soft-launched earlier this year with a positive response from its community and had a rapidly growing content library consisting of over 800 videos from many OnlyFans creators.
