Ookla has released the results of their Speedtest Global Index rankings for June 2022, showing median speeds of 21.41 Mbps for mobile and 68.94.09 Mbps for fixed broadband.
The recent report shows the mobile median download speed is 21.41 Mbps while the upload is at 5.55 Mbps, which is an improvement from May’s 19.26 Mbps download and 5.46 Mbps upload.
For fixed broadband, we have 68.94 Mbps download and 65.07 Mbps upload, also an improvement from the previous month’s 60.09 Mbps download and 56.44 Mbps upload.
In terms of global performance, the median download speed for mobile is 31.01 Mbps with an upload of 8.66 Mbps. Norway leads with 126.96 Mbps download.
For broadband, it’s 66.25 Mbps download and 28.56 Mbps upload. Chile leads with 213.73 download.
