OpenAI is doing a beta rollout to its web browsing and plugin features for ChatGPT Plus users.
As reported in Search Engine Journal, ChatGPT Plus users should be able to access the ChatGPT version today with the new plugin availability and web browsing feature rolled out by OpenAI.
The Web browsing feature will give ChatGPT Plus users access to a version of the AI chatbot that “knows when and how to browse the internet to answer questions about recent topics and events.”
Meanwhile, the Plugins feature will allow Plus users to access over 70 third-party plugins for the AI service that can presumably attach additional functionality to the chatbot.
These third-party plugins can range from more tools-based additional features like weather, documents, and text generation, to more lifestyle-focused plugins for entertainment, shopping, and the like.
