OPPO has officially announced the A91 and A8, the two newest members of the brand’s A-series lineup.
The OPPO A91 comes with a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, with a waterdrop notch that houses the 16MP front camera. It’s powered by MediaTek Helio P70, together with 8GB RAM, 128GB storage, expandable storage, 48MP + 8MP ultrawide + 2MP macro + 2MP depth rear cameras, 4,000mAh battery with support for 30W VOOC 3.0 fast charging, in-display fingerprint sensor, and runs on ColorOS 6.1 based on Android 9.
On the other hand, the OPPO A8 sports a 6.5-inch HD+ display, with an 8MP selfie camera residing in the waterdrop notch. Under the hood, it has a MediaTek Helio P35 chipset paired with 4GB RAM, 128GB storage, expandable via microSD. It also has a 12MP + 2MP + 2MP triple rear cameras, rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, 4,230mAh battery, and runs on ColorOS 6.1 based on Android 9.

The OPPO A91 comes with a price tag of CNY 1,999, while the A8 is priced at CNY 1,199. Both smartphones are now up for reservations in China and can be purchased beginning December 26. No word yet if the devices will get a local launch.
