OPPO has just announced three new products at their Oppo Inno Day 2022: the OHealth H1, the MariSilicon Y, and the Air Glass 2.
The OHealth H1 is OPPO’s six-in-one health monitor prototype that OPPO says is designed to look more “human” and user-friendly, in an effort to encourage people to use their medical devices at home.
The H1 prototype features an oval shape design that looks similar to an Apple Magic Mouse.
It can monitor six readings: ECG, heart rate, blood oxygen, sleep, body temperature, and heart and lung auscultation.
The H1 is the first “concept” product under OPPO’s new health brand OHealth, which was unveiled during the same event.
OPPO also unveiled a new member in their lineup of in-house made chips, the MariSilicon Y.
The MariSilicon Y is a Bluetooth audio SoC that OPPO says is the first chip in the world to provide 24-bit/192 kHz Ultra-high Resolution lossless audio via Bluetooth.
The MariSilicon Y is one of the first SoC’s to make use of the N6RF process, which reduces tranceiver power consumption by 66% while maintaining a small size.
This allows OPPO to provide a flagship audio experience over Bluetooth, without draining battery.
Lastly, OPPO also unveiled the second iteration of their Air Glass assisted reality smart glass, the Air Glass 2.
The Air Glass 2 comes at a lightweight 38g and includes a first-ever resin SRG-diffractive waveguide lens that support both vision correction and customization.
The Air Glass 2 will be able to act as a teleprompter, make phone calls, offer real-time translation of foreign languages, provide location navigation, and be a music player.
OPPO says that the Air Glass 2 was designed to be almost indistinguishable from regular glasses.
