OPPO has unveiled its latest flagships, the OPPO Find X8 and Find X8 Pro, in China. Both models run on the Dimensity 9400 chip and offer similar flagship-level cameras — in collaboration with Hasselblad.
Starting with the Find X8 Pro, it sports a 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED display, a 5910mAh battery, and a quad rear camera setup all having 50-megapixel sensors.
The Pro’s build has subtle curves all around, sporting a micro quad-curved screen and curved frame.
The triple rear camera setup consists of the primary wide lens, two periscope telephoto lenses, and an ultrawide sensor.
It even includes a shutter button similar to Apple’s “Camera Control”. Oppo calls it the “Quick Button” which is a touch sensitive strip that quickly opens the camera in a single press, swipe to control zoom, and double press to capture.
However, it appears that the Quick Button is limited to the Pro model only. There’s also an option for a Satellite Communications Edition which enables calls and text via satellite.
Moving over to the vanilla Find X8, sporting a tad bit smaller, lighter build, the same flagship chipset, and a triple rear camera setup.
Its display is a 6.59-inch LTPO AMOLED panel, and unlike the Pro model, it features a flat frame and screen.
It does come with all three 50-megapixel cameras at the rear but uses different sensors. Sadly, it doesn’t come with a dedicated shutter button.
The common features between the two include an Alert Slider, an IP69 rating for dust and water resistance, 80W wired and 50W wireless charging, and ColorOS 15 on top of Android 15.
