OPPO K12x launches with 5,500mAh battery, 80W fast charging

The OPPO K12x has silently launched as a new, affordable offering now available for pre-ordering in China.

The K12x sports a 6.67-inch FHD+ OLED panel with up to 120Hz for its refresh rate. Powering the device is a Snapdragon 685 with either 8GB or 12GB for RAM. It also comes with storage options of 256GB or 512GB.

MicroSD cards are also supported, along with dual nano-SIMs and 5G connectivity.

Users will also get a 50-megapixel main camera, a 2MP camera for portraits, and a 16MP shooter for selfies. Video recording is capped at 1080p at 30fps with EIS.

The phone packs a large 5,500mAh battery, with support for 80W SuperVOOC fast charging and PD 3.0 compatibility. The company notes that the OPPO K12x can charge from empty to full in 50 minutes.

The device is booted with ColorOS 14 (Android 14) out-of-the-box, and is fairly light at 191 grams. In addition, the K12x comes with two color options—Glow Green and Titanium Gray.

Pre-orders in China start at CNY 1,299 (PHP 10,386.94) for 8/256GB, CNY 1,499 (PHP 11,986.17) for 12/256GB, and CNY 1,799 (PHP 14,385.00) for 12/512GB. Shipping and sales begin on May 20th.
