Panasonic has just unveiled their addition to its Lumix S series family, the new Lumix S9 is a compact full-frame camera for just under 93k.
What’s new in Lumix S9 is it now sports a 24.2MP full-frame sensor, the same sensor found in their Lumix S5 II.
This new Lumix S9 also can shoot upto 6K video recording at 30fps in 4:2:0 10-bit, while in 4K video at 60fps in 4:2:2 10-bit.
Moreover, it has an In-Body Image Stabilization (IBIS) added Phase Hybrid Autofocus (AF), and a rotating touchscreen display like other lumix body cameras in the past, the Lumix S9 is categories as a hybrid camera for its ideal purpose for both photo and video shooting.
Additionally, they added “Real-Time LUTs” feature allows users to apply color grading directly during filming to which streamlining the post-production process.
The new Panasonic Lumix S9 also sports various colors like Green, Red, Black, and Blue and has a stylish leather body.
The Panasonic Lumix S9 has a starting price of $1,599 (~PHP 93k) for the body only kit, while the bundle option is available for $1,799 (~PHP 105k) which includes a 20-60mm kit lens.
Now for US customers can expect the Lumix S9 to be available starting in this June. However, no details yet regarding its availability in the Philippines.
