PayMaya Negosyo launched for MSMEs and entrepreneurs

PayMaya recently rolled out a dedicated app for MSMEs and entrepreneurs that will help them to adopt cashless payment and continue transactions amidst pandemic.

Dubbed as PayMaya Negosyo, the mobile app allows micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) to accept QR, online, and other forms of digital payments even without a presence on e-Commerce platforms.  Under the app, merchants will be able to do the following:

• Accept payments from PayMaya users via PayMaya QR which can be shared in their social media pages and chat apps
• Receive payments from upgraded PayMaya users through Send Money
• Process bank transfers from any InstaPay-participating banks and e-wallets in the Philippines

Entrepreneurs will need to sign up through the app by using their mobile number. Applicants are also required to upload one valid government ID  and a video selfie for identity verification. The application process takes up to 48 hours upon submission.

PayMaya Negosyo wallet users can also transfer funds to their respective bank accounts via InstaPay and can maintain a maximum balance of PHP 250,000.

The PayMaya Negosyo app is free for download on Android devices.
