I support this! if done right… Japan’s train network was the easiest (once you understand their Train system) hassle-less way to travel as a tourist! i only hope they use this opportunity to finally bring down those scattered webs of internet, cable, electric lines.
el gato says:
wow, dahil sa subway project, sa wakas, may bagong gagawing movie na naman si carlo j. caparas:
“subway train to ayala, the zombie massacre movie: patawad, lord!”
on a serious note, saan kaya ang subway coverage: quezon city, makati city, manila city, pasay city?
Saiyan Soldier says:
Construction of the subway will cause massive traffic jams. And this will be so expensive our grandchildren will all be debt ridden just to benefit a few govt officials. So I vote no. The PUVs are the problem. Get rid of the jeeps, tricycle, pedicab, UV express. We should adopt autonomous buses to replace all the PUVs.
kyle says:
then how did almost ALL countries with subways afford it? we don’t need negative people.
gan says:
replace all PUVs with autonomous buses? dude, get your head out of the clouds. a bus can’t take you from your gate to the highway. a bus can’t take you from the airport to your house, and a bus obviously CANT go thru narrow streets.
also, too expensive? cause traffic? that’s the same thing the naysayers said about the LRT and the MRT, well guess what, even they are enjoying it right now.
BoBongTO says:
pano mo nasabi? sa construction ba trabaho mo? dito nga di ramdam na may ginagawang subway.. wala kang makikita sa kalsada.. ang makikita mo lang yung entrance na tinatayo pero malamang di nakaharang sa kalsada..
vriand says:
the trains should be submersible like submarines.. if you know what I mean..
gab says:
some subways actually go under rivers and other bodies of water. not going to be a problem. it’s not like they’ll just dig a tunnel and that’s it.
