The Philippines ranks third in all searches for AI-related concerns worldwide, and places fourth for generative AI.
This ranking is based on recent data from Google Trends, with only China and Ethiopia above placements. The platform provides users with data on trending searches from netizens residing in different countries.
The results are almost in real-time, with data measured by recording how many times a popular keyword is searched for. This is inclusive of comparisons to other terms within a certain period.
The graph above suggests that Filipinos are taking a hefty interest in the growth of AI. The country is developing through technological awareness, economic aspirations, educational initiatives, and global trends coming with adopting AI.
Presently, there is a wide selection of AI tools made available for netizens in the Philippines. We have OpenAI’s ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.
Gemini is available on mobile and desktop. This AI assistant can handle tasks like writing, generating images, and more. There’s also a premium version called Gemini Pro with advanced features.
Meanwhile, ChatGPT can also be used in a variety of ways. Users can use it for music composition assistance, coding for programs, and so much more. But with so many people using the service, there may be down times for this tool.
However, users may also opt for ChatGPT Plus. It provides general, uninterrupted access to the AI model even during peak times. Subscribers also get faster response times and priority access to new features and improvements.
As the Philippines ranks third, we can only expect AI to be a mainstay for work processes and the like. What do you guys think?
