Pinoy Interactive Entertainment or PIE has just launched and is a new TV and digital channel which launches on May 23. In celebration of this they are giving away cash prizes totalling PHP 10 million.
PIE is a multiscreen, real-time interactive TV channel, which brings together BEAM, 917Ventures, KROMA, and ABS-CBN. The channel will begin airing on May 23, 5 a.m. to 2 a.m. daily and is accessible to digital TV households in Metro Manila, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Zamboanga, Naga, Baguio, and nearby provinces through partner station BEAM.
The channel introduces different flavors of shows for all audiences. Shows such as PIESILOG, hosted by Frances Cabatuando of Home Buddies Facebook community, brings audiences relevant information, inspiring stories, and positive energy every 7 a.m. The channel will have original content all throughout the day, such as the noontime show Barangay Pie, a talent variety show Piegalingan, classic game show Pera o Bayong, and the country’s first interactive teleserye, UZI.
