There will be a big change in Qualcomm as they are now separating the Qualcomm and Snapdragon brands. Snapdragon will now be a standalone product and will only tie-up with Qualcomm where appropriate.
The company has also revealed new representative colors for the brand, including Midnight, Gunmetal, Nickel, Snapdragon Red, and Gold. The company will also highlight their “fireball” in new visual assets and creative executions. The company will also introduce a new simplified and consistent naming structure for their platforms for customers to easily identify and discover products powered by Snapdragon.
There will be a transition to a single-digit series and generation number for their products, starting with the newest flagship Snapdragon 8-series platform.
Across the companies portfolio, gold will now be used to represent their premium-tier products. They will also be taking out the 5G branding from all their products as the company says that any Snapdragon product will have 5G built-in.
