Razer has announced the next generation of the Razer Blade 17 gaming laptop, built on the latest Intel 11th Gen i9-11900H processor and NVIDIA RTX 3080 GPU.
According to Razer, with the inclusion of the i9-11900H processor, the Blade 17 will reach new levels of performance from its previous Intel-based Razer Blade. The CPU clocks in at 4.90GHz, meaning users can expect improved speeds for games and multi-threaded workloads. The Razer Blade 17 is paired with the GeForce RTX 3080 laptop GPU that has display options of up to 4K Touchscreen.
The Blade 17 also sports a new anti-fingerprint resistive coating that reduces smudges on the exterior chassis. The 11th generation Intel platform provides quality of life improvements such as faster storage, memory, and dual-sided Thunderbolt 4 connectivity.
Additionally, the Blade 17 sports an FHD 1080p webcam, and four dedicated microphones. The vapor chamber and touchpad also sees further developments, the latter in the form of improved palm rejection, which prevents accidental cursor movements while typing. The improved vapor chamber provides an efficient heat dispersion process to prevent high temperatures.
Furthermore, the Blade 17 features per-key Razer Chroma RGB backlighting, THX Spatal Audio and abundant ports that include an SD card reader and a USB-C power delivery.
The new Razer Blade 17 starts at USD 2,399.99 and is available to preorder now at Razer.com, RazerStore retail locations, and with select retail partners.
