Razer Kaira X gaming headset for Xbox, PlayStation now official

Razer has officially released a new console series for its Kaira X gaming headset line-up, Kaira X for Xbox and PlayStation .

Identical to the previous Kaira X models, the Xbox and PlayStation variants come with the same Razer TiForce 50mm drivers to deliver high-quality gaming audio with improved frequency separation. This enables the console gaming headsets to produce crisp highs, clear mids, and deep bass, for what Razer claims as “encompassing, immersive audio”. For the microphone, it utilizes Razer’s flexible, boom-mounted HyperClear Cardioid Microphone. It focuses on picking-up ambient noise patterns to exclude unwanted background noise to provide clearer in-game communication.

As for hardware, the Xbox and PlayStation headphones come with Flowknit Memory Foam Ear Cushions, headband padding, and physical mute and volume sliders. As well as a 3.5mm headphone jack, making it cross-platform compatible. For colorways, the Kaira X for Xbox comes in Classic Black and White to match the Xbox Series X|S, and Shock Blue, Pulse Red, and Electric Volt to match the official Xbox Wireless Controllers. On the other hand, the Kaira X for PlayStation is available in a theme that matches the PS5 DualSense Wireless Controller.

“With the new Kaira X, gamers now have even more choice when it comes to picking their perfect Razer headset for either Xbox, PlayStation or PC,” said Alvin Cheung, Senior Vice President of Razer’s peripherals business unit. “And with the vibrant new range of colors on the Kaira X and charging stands, and the sleek white colors on the Kaira, Kaira Pro, and Wolverine V2, gamers can be as bold and bright as their hardware.”

The Razer Kaira X for Xbox and PlayStation retails for USD 59.99 and is available for purchase via Razer’s official website.
