Razer Project Hazel concept smart mask now official

Razer has introduced the latest Project Hazel concept smart mask during the CES 2021.

Dubbed by Razer as the “World’s Smartest Mask,” the Project Hazel sports surgical N95 respirator, active ventilation, and auto-sterilization function.

It has high bacterial filtration efficiency (BFE) and high fluid resistance against large droplets and splashes. However, the active ventilation is due to the smart mask’s detachable ventilator that regulates airflow, which is also capable of filtering at least 95% of airborne particles. This also features replaceable filters and rechargeable ventilators.

Furthermore, Project Hazel comes with a special charging case lined with a UV light interior that kills bacteria and viruses as the mask charges. The dual-purpose fast charger glows from red to green for identification of its battery level.

Boasting a durable design for daily use, the mask is also waterproof and scratch-resistant. The mask has a clear transparent design sporting an interior that lights up automatically when it’s dark. This allows the person wearing the mask to express himself clearly regardless of the lighting conditions. Additionally, the mask is also equipped with voiceamp technology, Razer’s patent-pending technology featuring a built-in mic and amplifier combo.

Not just that, Project Hazel also offers 16.8 million colors and a suite of iconic effects with 2 customizable lighting zones powered by Razer Chroma RGB.

The Razer smart mask concept will continue to be optimized through rigorous testing and user feedback. The company ensures its safety compliance and maximum comfort and usability. Besides, Razer has also mentioned ongoing design improvements to support the evolving user needs and deliver value without compromising functionality and performance.
