realme C61 unveiled, launching in India on June 28

The realme C61 has just been unveiled as the newest addition to their C-series line of entry-level smartphones.

The C61 has standard specs for a budget offering, with the exception of an unnamed reinforced glass that’s “tough as steel”. This feature is a huge part of the device, earning it a TUV Rheinland high-reliability certification.

This phone sports a 6.5-inch HD+(1600 by 720) IPS panel with a refresh rate of 90Hz. It’s complemented by dual stereo speakers for your multimedia needs.

Powering the realme C61 is a UNISOC T612 with memory configurations available in 4GB or 6GB of RAM. These are paired with either 64GB or 128GB of internal storage.

For cameras, the phone is equipped with dual shooters consisting of a 50-megapixel main paired with a depth sensor. At the front, users will get an 8-megapixel camera.

Wrapping up, the phone also packs a 5,000mAh battery with 45W of wired charging. realme claims the C61 offers users 80% of the device’s battery health intact after a thousand charging cycles.

The realme C61 is available in Safari Green and Marble Black color options.

The new device also provides users storage options with 4GB/64GB, 4GB/128GB, and 6GB/128GB. Presently, the device is priced at INR 7,699PHP 5,329USD 91EUR 87CNY 661 (~PHP 5,400USD 92INR 7,801EUR 88CNY 670), INR 8,499PHP 5,883USD 100EUR 96CNY 730 (~PHP 5,900USD 101INR 8,523EUR 96CNY 732), and INR 8,999PHP 6,229USD 106EUR 101CNY 773 (PHP 6,300USD 107INR 9,101EUR 102CNY 782) for each configuration respectively.

The phone will be available in India starting on June 28th, with its Philippine release yet to be unpacked.
