After almost a two-year from the international market, the realme GT Series is making a comeback with the upcoming realme GT 6. More importantly, realme has confirmed that this upcoming ‘flagship killer’ will launch in the Philippines among several global markets.
realme CEO and Founder Sky Li touts that AI is at the core of the upcoming realme GT 6 launch. “realme aims to make AI technology accessible to everyone,” Li said in a Forbes article.
The realme CEO also appeared on the Forbes’ Digital Cover showcasing the realme GT 6 itself — which highly resembles the Chinese-exclusive GT Neo6. Thus, we can expect similar features including a 120Hz 6.78-inch 1.5K OLED display, Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC, 50-megapixel main camera with OIS, and 5500mAh battery alongside 120W wired charging.
Previously, a realme GT 6T 38 has debuted in India and like mentioned that GT 6 will launch to more global markets, including India itself, the Philippines, Indonesia, Spain, Thailand, Malaysia, Mexico, Philippines, Brazil, Poland, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and more.
No official word yet on the exact release window, but a new teaser for ‘realTALK’ Episode 2 may have hinted the realme GT 6’s possible launch date. The said video featured Chase Xu, president of realme Global marketing, holding a spread of newspaper indicating a large text saying “June 20th”.
The tagline also says “Power meets AI” under the realme GT 6 moniker. We’ll surely know more information in the next few days, so stay tuned for updates!
